Website Makeovers & Redesigns

A Website Makeover is similar to a redesign. The difference is that you take the existing content and graphics and covert them using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and templates.

If you already have a Website and are pretty happy with your content and graphics, you may only need to update the coding behind your site to work with today's browsers and technology.

Converting your existing site to CSS and templates improves your download speed, search engine rankings, browser version compatibility, ease of use, and makes updates and maintenance much easier.

If your site is more than a year or two old, you are probably looking at Redesigning your site to update the look and feel, adding new sections to the navigation, and/or updating the technology (coding) used to create your site.

I find that some small businesses or non-profit organizations who have had Websites for a couple of years, now have a better idea of what they need and how visitors use their sites and just need someone to redesign their site to meet their new goals.

I have also found that many small businesses and non-profit organizations relied on a friend or family member to create their site in order to save money. Unfortunately, unless your friend or family member happens to be a professional Web Designer, your site is probably not meeting your goals.

A Website Makeover or Redesign is an opportunity to focus on what is most successful about your site and improve on the areas which are less successful.
