Fingertek Web Design: User Friendly Websites for Non-Profits & Small Businesses

Website Updates & Maintenance

The #1 reason users visit Websites is to find information. If you successfully provide that information, they will be more likely come back.

Users often visit a site more than once before taking an action (such as making a purchase).

If you regularly add or update the information on your site, you increase your site's value to the user.

Portfolio of Websites

On the other hand, if your information never changes, it becomes static and loses value.

I strongly recommend regular updates and maintenance to my clients.

At a minimum, any copyright, calendar, event, or highlighted messages should be kept up-to-date.

Regularly adding or updating content gives users a reason to return to your site and often results in better search engine placement.

Website Maintenance Contracts
Even if you don't have a lot of new content, I recommend making at least minor changes to your site every 2-3 months.

To encourage regular updates and maintenance, I offer my clients the option of a Website maintenance contract.

You pay for a set number of hours per month, how many depends on your specific needs. If you don't use all the time one month, it carries over to the next month.

The benefits of this maintenance contract include:

  • Regularly add information to your site
  • Update current information
  • Give users a reason to return to your site
  • Search engine indexing more frequent
  • Budget for your site maintenance needs
  • Budget for a large future project
  • $5 off per hour on my services.

Maintenance contracts can be for however many hours per month you need. The minimum contract is 2 hours per month to receive $5 off per hour on services.

My services are customized to meet your specific goals and fit your budget.
